With over 20 years of experience helping couples and individuals navigate the bumpy roads of life, I’ve seen it all when it comes to struggles. Sometimes the struggle is small (“How can I tell my partner how I’m feeling?”) and sometimes the struggle is large (“I’m feeling unattractive because I’ve gained so much weight”), but the struggle is real and I can help.
As a teenager, I used to write a weekly advice column for the Contra Costa Times. Not only was I the confidant my friends turned to when they had problems, but writing this column allowed me the opportunity to answer questions about heartbreak, parent problems and all the general angst-ridden complaints from my fellow peers. From a young age, I knew I wanted to help people.
